the best way is change your email on your egold account, go to the control panel and change it to another email which very very private email, use this private email for check the access pin only. and use another email account if we go for transaction ex : deposit on hyip program. i think it's the best to prevent our money get lost. in exception is there a rumor some scam can access without accspin it's mean bypass the email address, but it's still only a rumor for now. please report if there's any have been get tricked. thank's.

Actually, it wasn't a forum but one of the HYIP monitoring sites. Neither can I tell you which one or, if there was more, because I had posted on 5 or 6 of them all in one day. And shortly after that I started getting all this spam email.

I assume that it wasn't from e-gold, because I am still able to log into my account. Also, I think they're supposed to address you by your first name, which of course they didn't. I did send e-gold a copy of this, however, but they have yet to get back to me.

Now apparently the actual domain name is www.com-sn.name, of which they created the subdomain called www.e-gold.com-sn.name ... Do you see what they did? ... And, when you click on either of the links, you get the same message ... "Thank you for visiting our site ... Please return soon for updates" ... However, when you click on the full link, http://www.e-gold.com-sn.name/acct/login.html, what do you get? ... What sure as hell looks like the e-gold account login page!!! ... Watch out!!!
O h my God... thats horrible......
i've read in some thread..
some girl receive this email and clicked the link...
and the next thing is..
her e-gold account turn into $ 0 ...

so guys... becarefull..

It looks like to me that scammers are now more than ever using phishing as a way to get other people's money. I hope that down the road that it will be the scammers' money that gets taken.
