If we are using computer with some other people, we should use a program like Folder Lock to lock some important folder. I don't like lock my computer.

maybe you can zip all your important file and set password for the zipped file
it is more easier than installing a new software on your computer. winzip or winrar is quite basic in windows

I have tried few free software's to lock the folders and files in my computer. They have a options like hiding the complete file, delete protection, write protection etc. Important thing to remember here is you must remember the master password. If you forgot that, then not possible to get your locked/hidden files.

I need a software which will hide the file. I know folder guard can do that. But I am not finding its license key (its price is too much for me) searching through the internet. Anyone have the license key of folder guard or such types software or know any software which price is within $5 and work like folderguard?
